ok, so this is my dating blog! Right i'm in a position now where i would like to settle down with the love of my life but he's no where to be seen! instead all i'm left with is guys who either don't want any commitment, they arn't in a position to offer me any commitment or they are only interested in games!!
What is it with guys these days having no money, i'm now in a comfortable position with my business that i could be in a position to buy a house with a man! except i have no man!! and all the men i meet have no money!!!
Men in their late 20's should be in a position where they have a good job and SHOULD be ready to settle down to have a family!!
I have a 10 year old son, and in all his 10 years i've not been out with a man who has found it a problem, until now! I went on a date with a guy who couldn't get over the fact that i'm a mum! Now how can it bother him when he's 28 and not bother a guy 9 years ago when they were around 21/22?
Now don't get me wrong, i like to play dating games as much as the next girl, its no fun without a little hard to get or fighting for control with a man! But why is a guy wasting my time when he has no intention of taking the dating any further than the bedroom?
I hear a lot of dating stories in my job and so far i hear a lot of the same thing, us girls seem to go for men who are not available, now i don't mean married, i'm talking about guys who arn't looking for a girlfriend, they just want sex! or theres always blocks in the way!
i have no intention to settle for 2nd best, the only man i am looking for is the guy i'm going to spend the rest of my days with! is that really too much to ask??
I'm currently hedging my bets and dating 2 men! one the same age, who has good potential but isn't interested in having a girlfriend and the 2nd is slightly younger who is very keen to have me as their girlfriend but is not in a place where he wants any more than that! maybe its the age difference?
I am thinking maybe i'm wasting my time with both of them and its time to ditch them and find someone new? i'm thinking someone older, who has a decent job, wants kids in the next few years and has excellent dad potential! And possibly has their own house?
I like a man who makes me laugh! thats a must!!!
Once you have a man do most people let themselves go? i have this thing where i never intend to let myself go, i'm always going to try and please my man, improve myself, its important to have your own hobbys and to also spend time with the love of your life! once you have children and/or get settled in a relationship these things slide! You always need to make that effort! wear sexy underwear, cook them a special meal, take them on dates, buy them flowers, write them notes! Its the little things that will mean the most!
